Lord & Miller to bring Spiderverse to small screen

Ed Willey

Not content with winning the Oscar for Best Animated Feature, with Spider-man into the Spiderverse, Phil Lord and Chris Miller have now signed a deal with Sony Pictures Television to bring their iteration of the web-slinger to the small screen.

The deal will see them moving their company ‘Lord Miller’ from 20th Century Fox TV over to Sony where they plan to be working on a variety of new comedy and drama shows.

“We are so grateful to everyone at Sony Pictures Television for choosing to partner with us and expand our enduring relationship with the studio,” the duo stated in the press release, “Together we aim to make groundbreaking work of the highest quality and integrity, and to place that work in convenient proximity to your eyeballs and earholes, wherever you may be.”

Hopefully the series will continue the stand-out visual style of the movie, and if so, we can’t wait for it to arrive!
