Pokémon pop-up store opening in London

Ed Willey

Southern-based UK Poké-fans rejoice! London is getting is very own Pokémon Centre pop-up store, the bad news being that it’s only for one month, 18th October - 15th November.

Annouced via Twitter, The Pokémon Company posted a fetching image of Pikachu wearing a suit, bowler hat and carrying an umbrella. The quintessential British gent he is.

For those unfamiliar with the Pokémon Centres around the world, imagine a Disney store, but packed to the rafters with Pokémon merchandise and can currently only be found in Japan, USA and Singapore.

The store will be located in the Westfield shopping centre in Shepherds Bush, and will likely offer few exclusives not found in the other global stores or anywhere else.

Of course, the next major entries in the Pokémon series, Sword and Shield, are set in the UK so a tie-in there would be no big surprise.

With the store opening in just over a month, time to get saving!
