Announced on StarWars.com, Disney is bringing the much-anticipated intergalactic live action TV show to its annual expo of all things mouse house, D23.
The site states;
“During the Disney+ panel on Friday, August 23 at 3:30 p.m. in Hall D23, get a sneak preview of the upcoming live-action series The Mandalorian. Executive producer Jon Favreau will be joined by Dave Filoni (supervising director on Star Wars: The Clone Wars and writer/director on The Mandalorian) and other special guests for an on-stage presentation offering a glimpse at the titular bounty hunter and his travels to the outer reaches of the galaxy far, far away.”

How ‘new’ the footage is we’ll have to wait and see, but you’d expect they’ll be something additional from the footage shown at Star Wars celebration earlier this year.
Also, Lucasfilm will have a pavilion on the show floor with “a special exhibit showcasing the evolution of stormtrooper designs – including the new Sith trooper from Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.” This sounds a lot like the same setup that fans attending SDCC this coming weekend will also get to experience.
With The Mandalorian dropping in November, more details will certainly be welcome, and a proper full trailer wouldn’t go amiss either.
The D23 Expo takes place at the Anaheim Convention Center 23rd - 25th August 2019.
