If like many, you’re eagerly awaiting the sequel to Naughty Dogs critically acclaimed zombie-stealth-em-up, it looks like the news you’re after has snuck itself out.
February 2020 is when we’re most likely to be stepping into Ellie’s shoes to stab folk in the neck (see last years E3 demo…).
Thanks to an interview with Ellie’s real-life voice actor, Ashley Johnson (included below, skip to 1hr 7mins for the moment in question), when questioned about the release she starts to say “feh” but then gets cut-off by the interviewer. How rude.
Anyway, this seems to line up quite nicely with a recent tweet from Jason Schreier of Kotaku who said that whilst the game had been planned to be out this fall, it had in fact been bumped to “possibly February”.
Looks like Death Stranding is about to get announced for a November release. The Last of Us 2 was also planned for fall 2019 but I actually just heard it got bumped to early 2020, possibly February? Either way, wild final year for PS4 https://t.co/wh6kimA73b

There’s a solid chance this will pan out with Death Stranding confirmed for Nov 8th, it wouldn’t make sense to launch another major first-party title so close to it, as they usually favour spreading them throughout the year.
Are you disappointed at having to wait a little longer? Or happy to give it the time it needs?
